Remarks An evergreen tree of 20 meters high; trunk short erect; head large globulous densely branched, leaves (...) glossy on both faces. Fl. in spiches appearing below the leaves on the old wood purplish red. Calyx (...) entire petals 5 poly petalae - calicyflorae; stames 10 in 2 series of desequal lenght; anthers 2 celled laterally dehiscents. Ovary 3 celled; stigma (...) present in the fem. flowers.
